Why we started
In 2018, Andrew arrived at Waterloo and experienced the overwhelming feeling of transitioning from high school to university. Over five years, his path was tumultuous yet incredibly formative: navigating coveted internships, playing varsity sports, moving to the U.S., graduating with a 4.0, and ultimately landing a six-figure career out of Oklahoma State.
This deep, lived experience revealed a critical gap: many students feel lost and lack strategic guidance during their academic and career transitions. As a direct result, Pippy was launched with the goal of transforming student uncertainty into purposeful, high-impact academic and career outcomes.
